The patch will upgrade your existing DeltaGraph 4.0 (including 4.0.5c) for Windows  to the latest and greatest DeltaGraph release.  DeltaGraph 4.0.5d includes the following enhancements: 
OLE Activation Improvements for both Embedded and Linked DeltaGraph Charts.  
Better support for Office 97 applications, OLE linking, and OLE clipboard operations. 
OLE linking with live Excel spreadsheets  
Dynamic frame rectangle replaced for ease of visual identification, and the size of the rectangle is now managed properly as well. New support has been added for using the 'Clear' command to remove dynamic data sheet links. 
New Data Import/Export Filters - Including Office 97 Support 
Import support has been added for importing Excel 97, Paradox, and FoxPro files. This version also introduces an easy and powerful new user interface for enabling complete control over data ranges and functionality in both import and export. 
New Row and Column Label Shading  
New shading of the background color for the special reserved label row and column.  toggles between all row and label cells vs. just those which contain data. (256 color system color schemes and higher only). 
Tooltip Text Now Works under NT 4.0. 
Tooltips are now supported under Windows NT 4.0. 
Improved EPS file format support 
Improved file path support 
Improved text file import support

 To install the patch: 
Unzip the single patch zip file WITH DIRECTORIES INTACT (Be sure to keep directories intact!) 
Double-click setup.exe in the Disk1 sub-directory. 
Follow the online instructions. 


Attention DeltaGraph 4.0.5c, Windows 95 users.  Customer comments have brought to our attention a possible problem when  saving DeltaGraph files.  Under Windows 95 only, when users save files with the DeltaGraph 4.05c patch to a different  drive than the drive that DeltaGraph resides on, it deletes the file the second time the files are saved.    

If you find you have lost a DeltaGraph file follow these steps:  

The DeltaGraph file is still in the root directory of your drive that DeltaGraph is installed on and is named  "DGTMPxxx," where "xxx" is a randomly generated number of two to three digits.  To recover the lost file of this type  under Win 95, just rename the "DDGTMPxxx" file in the root directory of the drive with a ".DG4" extension.  

To correct this problem, simply download the DeltaGraph 4.05d patch for Windows.
